Quest - Level 2

GOOD GOING - You're now on level 2

This is where you have to start doing something to get through a level. To complete this level, you have to build your own ancient Egyptian timeline. It isn't all that hard though, because, like level 1, there are boxes to fill in that will help you. What you have to do is find, on other websites, things that happened at certain times in Egyptian history. I will give you a list of websites at the bottom of the page that will help you. Again, you will need a ruler and a pencil to draw a table like the one below. In the first box, you need to find some things that happened in Egypt around 3,500BC and write then in the box. You carry on until you have written something in all five boxes. If you want to make it harder for yourselves, (you 10-13 year-olds), you can include more boxes and make the timeline a lttle more detailed. Younger children may wish to use boxes that include all of the 3000's BC, all of the 2000's BC etc. It's up to you, it's your timeline. First of all, do you know what BC means? If not, find out.

When you have finished, you will have a simple timeline of the history of Egypt in ancient times. Get an adult to check your timeline and, when they say it's OK, you can move on to level 3.
